Hello to everyone,
The NBHA State Show is upon us scheduled for March 14, 15, and 16. Hope to see everyone there. Our district is scheduled to work 101-200 on Friday night, and 1-100 on Saturday night. If you did not receive an entry form in the mail from Sherrye they can be downloaded on NBHAArkansas.com.
I have ordered our awards. They are supposed to be ready mid April and I will be sheduling our first barrel race mid April as well. The awards will be handed out at this show provided they are all ready. I am also going to give everyone a chance to pay there $25 award fee one last time before the awards are handed out. If you would like to receive your district award please mail your money in before February 20, 2009. As long as your money is postmarked by this date you can still receive your awards. I will also be sending this newsletter out to our members so no one can say that they did not receive a chance at the awards. They are beautiful and I think everyone will be very pleased. Please also watch the website for our upcoming schedule as I will be posting it in the next 1-2 weeks to begin in April after the weather has warmed some.

February 3, 2008 - Hope Fair Park, B.O. 1:00pm, Exh 1:30pm, Show 3:00pm
February 10, 2008 - Hop Fair Park, B.O. 1:00pm. Exb 1:30pm, Show 3:00pm. Sweetheart barrel race with Cow-cutta. Get your guy entered! The bidding will proceed the race! This show was previously scheduled for the 24th but moved due to scheduling conflicts.
March 2, 2008 - Hope Fair Park, B.O. 1:00pm. Exb 1:30pm, Show 3:00pm DON'T FORGET TO BRING YOUR SILENT AUCTION ITEMS!! DOG RACE BEFORE THE BARREL RACE! LARGE DOG AND SMALL DOG RACE. ENTRY FEE $10 PER DOG. PRIZES TO THE WINNERS!!

June 20, 2008 - Lewisville Fair Grounds, B.O. 6:00PM, Exh 6:30PM, Show 8:00PM DIRECTIONS TO ARENA: TAKE HWY 82 EAST TOWARD MAGNOLIA. THE ARENA IS 1-2 MILES OUT OF LEWISVILLE ON THE LEFT. THERE IS A SIGN ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE ROAD THAT SAYS LAFAYETTE COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS.
June 29, 2008 - Hope Fair Park, Benefit for New Timers and Awards Barrel Race and Potluck. BO 1:30PM, Exh 2:00-3:00PM, Show 3:00PM, 2007 year end awards to be given out and potluck immediately to follow the barrel race. Entry Fee $20, Sign up fee $5, Exh $4 or 3 for $10. All proceeds will go toward new timers for AR03. Please bring a potluck item.
